The acoustic performance results of Wintec’s aluminium windows and doors (Rw- Weighted Sound Reduction Index) are results of tests conducted at the National Acoustic Laboratory. All tests are conducted in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 4420.1:2016
Coastal Living can provide you with a range of options to suit your needs and achieve ratings per your BASIX report if necessary. The use of different glass types can drastically change the energy and acoustic ratings. Some glass types our system supports include laminated glass, double glazed units, acoustic rated VLAM hush glass, thermal comfort glass, a range of Low E glass.
When provided with the BASIX report, we can advise of suitable options available with certified test results to comply with the BASIX requirements.
